We saw Dr A today, Sam's cornea is coming out of his eye. He will be having surgery tomorrow morning. We have to be there at 6 am. Dr A is not sure what he will do until he gets in. Something has to be done. Either he will tighten it, take it out and put in a donor cornea so the eye is covered or take the eye out.... I trust Dr A's judgement.
In some ways I'm not concerned since he doesn't have sight in that eye anyhow. But we want to do whatever it takes to make sure he will be comfortable. Please pray for him!
Selah is doing fine and she was fitted for hand splints today.
Sarah was fitted for braces today. She got mad:)
Thankfully the brace company came to our house, that made it easy on everyone with me gone!
Finally got our luggage around 7pm but the airlines was nice and even offered me a refund on an outfit I bought. Since I was going on day 3 with the same outfit....I thought I better find something else just in case! LOL
Sam has been so grumpy today, like out of his mind. I don't think he is in pain, just confused without his dad and brother Steve. He has screamed...last night he wanted me to hold him, so I did till 4 am on a twin bed! RMH put a crib in our room today, Sam is used to a crib, and I think the big bed was just too much for him.
Nothing makes him happy except for the moment, then he starts crying again. Sam is not like that so I gave him Motrin too to be on the safe side. Finally I got him to sleep tonight after a big meal and a bath. He is all out of sorts.
Thanks for remembering him in prayer tomorrow!!!

I am praying for Sam, for his surgery in the morning, and for the Lord to guide Dr. A's hands and mind as he works on your son, and for all the staff that will be attending to your son. I am praying for you, for His Angels to surround you with comfort while you wait and strength to get through all you need to do tomorrow.
