Pray for Selah and Sam Church in Ukraine

We are not sure what is going on with Selah.  The doctor told me now she is not positive for anything, no cultures are growing and they are very doubtful that the spot on her lung is anything...No fever, no throwing up...   We should be glad right?  We are NOT!  Something is off with Selah.  She is storming every 12 hours, her heart rate is up and down but not stable, today her Oxygen level was from 92-96 which is low for her.  The doctor wanted to send her home today and I said NO!  They've brought in neurology and infectious disease...but no one thinks anything is going on but me and her regular nurses.  The plan is for her to come home tomorrow.  I don't know.

Today they took her for another lung xray and she came back in the room, starting to storm.  Thankfully I'd thought to bring her wheelchair and she actually calmed down enough that she didn't need drugs just by siting in it.  She was thrusting her head and shoulders forward alot and raising her arms, very unusual behavior for her.  She seemed agaited.  I don't think it's because she is in the hospital.  I really think she is sick, maybe it's viral and that's why nothing is coming up but I'm not at all sure about her coming home.

Please pray for her, my heart just aches tonight.

Sam still seems out of sorts and not himself.  I will be so glad to get him to Dr A next week!

Just alot going on and my heart aches for my children....

We just loved all these folks.  It's seems hard to think we may never see them again this side of heaven.  Our hearts knit together despite the challenge of language!  God Bless them!

I tried to load a video of them singing....but it wouldn't...

  1. Just a thought--have you changed Selah's formula yet? My only thought is perhaps she is reacting to something in it. My friend's kids are autistic and have celiacs and just the slightest change can really affect them.

I am praying hard for you to find answers, for healing for Sam and Selah and for comfort for your heart.

  2. This may be way off base but I know when they are sick you look for anything and want help for them. Her teeth. Is she cutting or loosing any teeth. My cousin has a special needs child and his teeth are giving him fits. He bangs his head and doesn't sleep when they bother him. Praying that whatever the problem is she is healed and you get your peace and joy back. Praying
