Both of these videos were taken a year ago yesterday, our first Sarurday at the instituion. I'm thrilled they uploaded, it took awhile!
The top video is of Selah, she had been watching us tickle Sarah but didn't want us to touch her. Then she laid on the floor like Sarah and rolled towards us and I could tell she wanted to be tickled too. This video was taken about an hour after us being there, it took her that long. But it is the sweetest video I think we have of her. In it you can hear her funny little babbling noises....it takes my breath away to hear her do that again.
This video of Sarah blew the staff away. When I told them on Monday she had pulled up ( I had to show them by gestures) they did not believe she could do it until I showed them the video. Her worker was shocked that she could do it! I am so glad we have that video. I have to admit I was a bit smug when I showed it to them!!!
The "big girl panties" comment was entirely uncalled for. You are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! You don't need big girl panties when can opt to put on the full armor of God and that's how someone should be praying for you. I'm sorry but I can't imagine what it is to deal with your situation. I do know that God is more than able to gird up your loins without anyone else's input! I've probably said more than my part now. Praying for you and knowing that God is perfecting everything that concerns you and working all things together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore those videos! To see precious Selah letting you love on her, and ENJOY it, is just heartwarming!! And sweet Sarah, pulling herself up like a big girl. Showing off for her momma, she was! I love seeing your photos and living vicariously through your Ukraine adventures. Thank you so much for sharing while your plate is already so full!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love these videos. I only wish I could here them =( seems like I can't hear any of the videos you upload. Doesn't matter though, love the smile on Selah's face. SO sweet =)
