Ukraine's Forgotten Children (BBC4 documentary) HD





I encourage you to watch this video.  It is not where my girls were at but it explains many things about orphans in Ukraine and how much need there is!!!

    Thank you for posting this. Although I had seen a short 3-minute clip in regards to an orphanage in Serbia that was in deplorable conditions, an hour and a half certainly allows for more knowledge. It is truly heartbreaking, on all levels. Not just for the small children, but for the grown adults, young people in their twenties and thirties like me who have had such a status put on them...

    Yvonne, I've just watched the entire video (wide awake in the middle of the night). So deeply painful and heartbreaking and powerful. Thank you for sharing it and helping us to know what is happening.

    I'm absolutely heartbroken for those poor people, both children and adults. Such deplorable conditions, with no hope for a future for most of them. My heart hurts for them all. I wish I could scoop them up and love on them! If I never felt a desire to adopt from abroad before, I sure do after seeing that. I'm not in any position whatsoever now, but hope that someday I will be. Bless you for rescuing your precious girls!
